As the year comes to a close and the festive season settles in around us, I find myself reflecting on everything that has happened not just over the past year, but over the past five years of running my business. It still feels surreal to say that out loud. Five years. More than half a decade of supporting incredible clients, learning, growing, and building something that started as a small idea and has become a meaningful part of my everyday life.
I would like to take a moment to express my gratitude. Truly, deeply, sincerely thank you for every bit of support you’ve given me.
Five Years of Gratitude
When I started this business, I had no idea how things would unfold. I hoped people would find value in what I offered, but I don’t think I could ever have imagined how rewarding it would be, or how much I would come to love the work I do.
Over the past five years, I have had the privilege of:
- working with brilliant business owners across different industries,
- helping people reduce their stress and reclaim their time,
- supporting clients as they grow, hire, expand, and evolve,
- learning new systems, skills, and software along the way,
- building genuine relationships with people I may never have met otherwise.
Running a business isn’t always smooth sailing. Anyone who has done it will know it comes with challenges, late nights, unexpected bumps, and the occasional moment of “How on earth do I solve this?”. However, it also comes with immense joy, independence, purpose, and connection. And for me, the absolute best part has always been the people I work with.
I feel genuinely honoured every time someone trusts me with their admin, organisation, social media, or day-to-day support. I never take that for granted. Their trust has shaped my business and given me the confidence to reach the five-year mark with excitement for the future.
A Year of Growth and Change
This year in particular has been a mix of challenges and wonderful moments. I’ve taken on new clients, expanded the services I offer, improved my systems, and refined the way I work so that I can provide even more value. I’ve invested time in learning new skills and exploring new tools, all with the goal of supporting clients better.
Every year teaches me something new about business and about myself. This year taught me the importance of balance, boundaries, and taking a pause when needed. It also reminded me how much I enjoy helping businesses run smoothly behind the scenes. There’s something incredibly satisfying about bringing order to chaos, ticking things off lists, solving small frustrations, and giving people back time they didn’t realise they were losing.
Looking Forward to a New Year
As we head into a fresh year, I feel excited, motivated, and ready to keep building on everything that has brought me to this point. I’m looking forward to:
- continuing to support my wonderful clients,
- welcoming new clients who need reliable, friendly assistance,
- improving the tools and systems I use,
- growing my skills even further,
- and exploring new opportunities that come my way.
A new year can feel like a blank page full of possibilities, ideas, and potential. And although I’m not someone who creates a long list of rigid resolutions, I do like to set intentions. Mine for the coming year are simple: to stay consistent, to stay curious, and to continue delivering high-quality support that makes a difference.
Whatever you are planning for 2026 (and that still feels strange to say!), I hope the year brings you growth, clarity, success, and moments of joy worth remembering.
Wishing You a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year
Now, as Christmas approaches, I hope you find time to slow down. To rest. To enjoy the small things. To spend time with people who matter. To make memories that warm your heart long after the decorations have been taken down.
Whether your Christmas is filled with large family gatherings, quiet evenings at home, festive films, board games, long walks, or a mixture of everything, I hope it’s exactly what you need.
Merry Christmas, and Happy New Year to you and yours.
Thank you once again for being part of my journey.
